Maria Sibylla Merian was a German–Dutch botanist, entomologist and artist who created a groundbreaking work on South American insects and plants.
When the insects' names are not included, it's because during Sibylla Merian's lifetime the names were not known.

The cards are printed at a European printer certified with the Nordic Swan label and are produced on environmentally certified FSC paper.
The envelopes are made from eco-friendly eucalyptus paper.
